The Poly-tech Milled Legend Under-Folders are an extremely rare gun. They were imported in the late 1980's, and have increased in value each year since. They accept the Type 1 Bayonet, and are as close to the original Russian AK-47 as you can get on the American market. Although, they have a double hook trigger, and under-folding stock. Shooters are going for $2,000 + or more, while NIB specimens are going for whatever guys are willing to bid it up to.
Be very careful when considering purchasing a Legend.
Someone else is trying to make a quick $1,000 over what he paid.
Here is my Underfeolder Legend.
Here is the finest example from The Valley Walker Collection.
All of the Legend series rifles were manufactured at the Polytech 386 factory. The stamp on the guns is the number 386 in a small circle on the left side of the front trunnion, close to the serial number.
All Legends are stamped (386). They all have milled steel receivers that will outlast any stamped receiver 3 to 1. They are a Russian T3 in semi-automatic.
Their original factory magazines are marked "Poly China" on the bottom of the floor plate, and the magazine followers are Chrome. Always double check the receiver. Here is one below.
Legend underfolder pictured in middle.
Legend with bayonet installed. Take a close look, the Type 1 bayonet latches onto the front sight base. And the Legend series rifles always have an open front sight,
just like the Russian Type 3.
Below is a Milled Legend, that was saw cut. You can see how the milling was done, and how sturdy these guns are. They have beefy solid receivers.

ReplyDeleteSir, Dont shoot it if its New in Box. Sell it, and buy a shooter, and put some money away!!!! Or undertand that she will loose 2K+ as a shooter, than as NIB.
