Chinese AK-47 Bayonets, Type 1, and Type II

Here are the types of Chinese AK-47 Bayonets for all Pre Ban versions.
All 4 Bakelite Type II Versions in the photo below.

1) The Red Bakelite Brass Pin Version. Quite Collectible.
2) The Red Bakelite Type II Version. Collectible.
3) The Dark Green Type II Bayonet, with small lump on the Scabbard. The most uncommon type.
4) The Black Bakelite Type II version is the most common and easiest to find.  There are two versions, one with a Philips Head Screw Head, and one with a Flat Head, see below.

All of my Chinese Bayonets have a rare Bayonet Hanger. That is what makes the collection.
My black and Green bayonets have blued bayonet hangers, while the two red bayonets have chrome hangers!

There is the full spread.
This photo, I included the Black Bayonet with the Philips Head Screw.
And a Polytech Lehend Type 1 Bayonet.
And, yes, thats a spike bayo on the far right!

Black on the left, Green in the middle, and Red with Brass Pin on the right.
That is a Chinese Bayonet Clip below.

1) Red Brass Pin, 2) Red, 3) Green with Scabbard Lump, 4) Black

Green with Lump on top, compared to a Black without scabbard lump.

Here, it is easy to see the color difference between the green on top, and the black on bottom.

It is very had to notice indoors,  but very apparent once the green bayonet is outside in the sun.

Brand new Red Bakelite in original plastic sleeve. Also, a brand new hanger.
Type 86S Bullpup with Green Bayonet, and a Type 56S-2 with Black Bayonet.
Here is my full collection of Chinese Bayos. The three on the right are for the Polytech Legend series and the Bakelite side-folders without a Type II gas block mount. Legend bayonets are going for close to $100.00 or more. Look at the difference in color of the Legend bayonet handles. Some are of lighter wood, while some others have a deep dark stain on them. I have heard that the wood handles are made of Mahogany, while other sources say they are made of Chinese Chu Wood.

I am told that the "blond" bayonet handles are the most difficult to locate. I love mine. But I also like the two dark handles so much. They have a very dark reddish color that is beautiful in person.

Last, but not least, is my favorite Chinese Bayonet. It won't do you any good without having the rifle to go with it. It is a true "spiker" bayonet permanently fixed on an AK. Also called a "Pig Sticker."
