The Polytech Legend Milled receiver may be the most sought after Chinese AK-47 on the American market. These guns have increased in value each year since they were imported in the late 1980's. They take a Type 1 bayonet, and are supposed to be the closest thing to the original Soviet Milled AK-47 on the American market. Although, the Chinese version has a double hook trigger.
These guns can go for stupid money as "NIB" examples.
Here is mine below, in a set of Chinese Milled Type 56 Red Bakelite

Watch out. A guy selling one of these may be trying to make $1,000.00 in a quick flip at your expense. Here is my Legend NIB.

Legend in Full Dark Bakelite. SWEEEET right?
Here is a minty example from The Valley Walker Collection.
All of the Legend series rifles were manufactured at the Polytech ( 386 ) factory. The stamp on the guns is the number 386 in a small circle on the left side of the front trunion, close to the serial number. All Legends are stamped (386), and designated AK-47/S.
Their original factory magazines are marked "Poly China" on the bottom of the floor plate, and the magazine followers are Chrome. Some are blue however.
